- This change will take effect on October 1st.
- In order to adequately recompense those workers who are currently making less than $16.00 per hour, the following guidelines will be implemented: All workers now making less than $16.00 per hour will have their rate increased to $16.00 per hour, and they will also earn an extra 1.5% raise for each year of combined service with CVS and Schnucks, up to a maximum of $17.20 per hour.
An employee who is now making $15.20 per hour and has 3 years of cumulative service would rise to $16.00 per hour and then receive 1.5% raise for each year, which would equal a 4.5% increase over $16.00 per hour. This is just one example. The new hourly wage for them would be $16.72 dollars.
- Any employee who makes between $16.00 and $17.20 per hour will be eligible for a pay raise that is equivalent to 1.5% of their current annual salary for each year of cumulative service, up to a maximum pay rate of $17.20 per hour.
- All employees will continue to receive the contractual raises that are mentioned in your Collective Bargaining Agreement in addition to any raises that are outlined above.
