We are continuing processing applications that have been submitted for first registration as a pharmacy technician; however, there may be some delays because we presently have limited access to any post that is delivered to our offices. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
How do I get a pharmacy technician license in Georgia?
You may now submit your application online to get licensed as a pharmacist, a pharmacy intern, or a pharmacy technician. The application process is now available entirely online. After you have completed an online application that is complete, you will be required to additionally complete the online application supplement package, which may be found on the website of the Georgia Board of Pharmacy under the heading “Applications and Forms.” Please wait to mail the supplement package until after you have finished submitting your application online by clicking on the “Apply Online” link shown above.
You are needed to send the appropriate documents to the Georgia Board of Pharmacy by postal mail. The address for the Georgia Board of Pharmacy is as follows: Georgia Board of Pharmacy, Department of Community Health, 2 Peachtree Street NW, 6th Floor, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.
THE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ONE FULL YEAR NOTE: Pharmacy technicians whose registration has been revoked are required to get in touch with the Board’s office in order to receive a paper application. Online applications are not available to pharmacy technicians whose registration has already expired.
Can I become a pharmacy technician outside of the UK?
Which program should I use to register for the course? – The location at which you earned your credentials and completed your previous work experience will determine the information you will be required to supply as well as the application form you will be required to fill out.
