Conclusion: In addition to keeping critical care nurses up to speed with new results, practices, and trends in critical care, the implementation of the journal club activity was helpful in enhancing critical care nurses’ understanding on current research studies and the best available evidence.

The journal club, with its structured review questions, has shown to be a successful means of evaluating the merits of the evidence offered in the articles that have been read, and it has occasionally led to changes in the clinical practice that we use in critical care.
