At the Walgreens where I am employed at the moment, we do not close the pharmacy for lunch. Therefore, the pharmacist is typically required to work eight or nine hours without taking a break. It seems extremely unfair to me that pharmacy technicians are eligible for paid time off yet pharmacists are not.
I am aware that both Cosco and Target will be closed for between thirty minutes and one hour in the middle of the day for lunch.
